An Inspiring Giveaway: Growing a Farmer + Animal, Vegetable, Miracle *CLOSED*

An Inspiring Giveaway :: Faulk Farmstead

I have always enjoyed reading books, even as a child.  As I became closer to my homesteading dream, I read many reference-type books – chicken coop how-to’s, DIY books, etc.  Yep, all great info, but inspiring?  Eh, not so much.

I found that when reading books about people who changed their lives – along with the uncomfortable-ness, uncertainties, and troubles that came with it – THOSE were the ones that inspired me.  They overcame those trials, even when they didn’t really know what they were doing (Hey!  Just like me!).  One of the first books that did that for me was Growing a Farmer, by Kurt Timmermeister.  To learn that there were people like me, that knew absolutely ZERO about farming and homesteading and then made it work?  Beyond uplifting and inspiring.

On my nightstand right now is Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, by Barabara Kingsolver.  After being recommended to me over and over and over…  I finally picked it up.  What a beautiful journey of getting back to the roots of food, celebrating where it came from – and eating only that.  Gorgeous.

I want YOU to be inspired, just as I have been inspired.  I want you to read these books, feel empowered, and go out there and make those changes that YOU want to make (not just the changes that were made in the books).   Wouldn’t you like to take home your own copies of these amazing books?  You guessed it – The Faulk Farmstead is giving away this set of books to one extremely lucky (and soon-to-be inspired) reader!  You know you want it to be you!
