Farm Fashion – What’s It Mean To You? (A Giveaway!!)

Farm Fashion

Farm Fashion.

What?  Not words that you usually think of together?

Yes.  They go together.  Yes, they do.   Stick with me here…

Now “fashion” doesn’t necessarily mean “high fashion” – Got me?  Many mornings our farm attire is a pj pants and hoodie type of attire – or as my daughter does, pj pants and a robe, as seen in this adorable post.

My current fashion statement in chilly weather?  That would definitely be my new Berne overalls – rosy pink, of course – paired with my uber fashionable blue flowered Bogs, similar to these.  Yessirree.  Fashion at it’s finest!

In the warmer months?  A sundress with one of my fave aprons always does the trick!

  1. The apron is awesome. My usual attire is whatever I happen to already be wearing plus my rain boots (Charming Charlie, with a peacock design). Unless it’s warm and not mucky and then I’m barefoot (I can be barefoot because it doesn’t hurt when my current livestock steps on my foot. Once we have goats, I’ll have shoes)

  2. Don’t have my farm just yet but I do herd two children every morning, feed, clean up after, dress and walk one to school so my fave accessories are my Keen sandles, comfy shorts, (Florida) tank, and flannel.

  3. well, I guess you could call it pjs as I usually sleep in sweats, but I guess I should just say sweat clothes.

  4. Aprons are really cute! I don’t have a farm fashion. 🙁 I just wear corduroys and a long sleeved shirt. However, now that you’ve brought this up, I might have to get myself a ‘farm fashion’!

  5. Bogs boots in winter, Bogs clogs in summer. I also have a pair of kid’s Keen rain boots with little frogs on them that I wear year round. My son gave me a pair of high waisted American Apparel sweat pants (weird, I know) that are uber comfortable. I wear them every morning in the winter. Summer brings overall shorts out of the closet! And man, I’m really ready to break out those overall shorts now 🙂

  6. Whatever’s handy, usually shorts or jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. With crocs. I’m stylin’ alright… 🙂

  7. Farm fashion, to me that is whatever covers my body sufficiently to protect me from the elements, ie sun, cold wind, etc, and look sort of presentable to the neighbors view about 100 to 200 yards away. Lol. My PJ’s and crocs will do the trick, from a distance I look totally presentable, lol.
